Decisions: March 29th, ONLINE

I hope that the decision page has the financial aid award on there too, though somehow I doubt it.

Tip from ED: call the financial aid office to find out when the offers were mailed because they're a lot more willing to tell you than the admissions office is.

Hmm...good idea. I'm pretty sure the financial aid offers are only mailed. I remember last year when my friend got into Stanford there were a few excruciating days when she had to wait to see what her financial aid package was (her parents had given her pretty strict limits). It was so exciting (almost more exciting than when she was accepted) when she finally got it in the mail and figured out she could go.

O Man, 2 days, 22 hours, 11 minutes. So close!

Aww, j07 is getting sentimental. In the ED craze, we were all so addicted to this forum, the family pretty much panicked when the server went down for a few days. Remember? I seriously thought I would not be able to live without it. Turns out that a deferral really dampens your enthusiasm. As do acceptances from other dream schools. :D The thing is, we will all end up somewhere amazing. Princeton or not, all the hard work we've been through will pay off. Actually, it already has - we all feel worthy to post on the PRINCETON forum.

2 days 20 hrs

hey all! yes, I'm here (though I haven't been here in a while) and yes, OF COURSE I remember pk and omz (who I'm pretty sure will be going to Wellesley) and all of the other wonderful EDers!!
And hi to you, AP/jon--you were very helpful to me way back when I was an anxious little applicant, and it's great to "see" you back here again and hear your great story!
I sort of stopped coming to CC because I felt it had lost its ED spark, but now I feel like it's coming back again. you guys are becoming more and more cohesive and interesting as decisions draw near, as we did.
GOOD LUCK to all of you RDers and I hope to see ALL of you in September!!
Also, feel free to PM me if you would like to be my Facebook friend (or if you want to ask any questions of an average EDer). I love new Facebook friends. :)

Aww, we're interesting enough for you now? Thanks.

haha that didn't come out the way I meant it. it was supposed to be a compliment. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!! is that good enough for you? ;)

Even I have to admit CC got boring when we all went into post ED depression.

no i know what she is talking about. after decisions it was kind of depressing when people didn't get in. i mean, before decisions there were threads where people were posting non stop all night, but afterwards nothing was happening. it's just that CC (understandably) gets more interesting in general when decisions get closer and people spend more time on here.

I quit using CC for about a month, but it's an outlet for pre-decision nerves, so I had to come back when it started getting (remotely) close to RD decision time!

The Princeton board is the -hugest- lovefest ever. I'm not expecting much after being deferred, but really, this is an awesome board. ^_^ And good luck fellow deferrees/regular decision people!

Haha yeah btlesgirl, I'm glad we're interesting again! I'm pretty sure that I'm one of like...5 people who was here from before ED and is still here consistently (and yes jimbob/mallomar we KNOW you think that's ironic/dumb) and I'm so happy we're back to that...thing!

Lol I promise I'm not just being touchy because of decisions, really. I just don't have an affinity for things warm and fuzzy lol.

well i guess jimbob/mallomar and I wouldnt get along well :(

Yeah...I guess me neither.
It's ok avseahawks, you and I will get along just fine! Warm and fuzzily, even!

Lol. Struggle.

lol are we really that impatient about our decisions that we are arguing about whether we like warm and fuzzy things or not? lol

Yeah basically.
