Decisions: March 29th, ONLINE

What?!?! You guys are lucky. I hated waiting for the snail mail that would seal my fate. :(

20 days, 21 hours (I have a countdown widget)

Hey, i have a question....

On the application status page, it says they "have received some but not all of the required pieces of your application. See the first section below for a list of missing items. Please do your best to make sure we receive the missing item(s) as soon as possible."

HOWEVER, the list of "missing items" down below is EMPTY...and all of the required items are listed....should i just ignore this?

mine was like that, now it says my app is complete and I didn't do anything, but I don't know if you should call or not.

Mine was like that too, but as soon as I sent my MidYear Report it was cleared. I think it's because Mid-Year Reports are sent at such different times that they don't list it as a "missing item," maybe to avoid a deluge of phone calls saying "I SO SENT MY MID YEAR REPORT LIKE 9 HOURS AGO." Or maybe not, who knows. But mine said that too and then was cleared about a week after I sent my mid-year grades.

Mine never said anything was missing even before the Mid year report was sent.

Did they tell you to use this site(<a href="https://puwebp.princeton.edu:7230/uac/login.jsp%5B/url%5D">https://puwebp.princeton.edu:7230/uac/login.jsp</a>) to see the decision or are you assuming this is the one? Isn't it just a checklist site?

This is what I see:
<a href="http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/3710/princetonsp2.jpg%5B/url%5D">http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/3710/princetonsp2.jpg</a></p>

ok so brown decdisions come out the 29th "not before 5:00 est" i dont know where this 6:30 thing came from and yale is the 30th after or around 5:00. those i know for sure b/c the repective colleges have actually sent info stating such, why is princeton so vague!!!

ok i lied brown is not before 5:00 your local time not est

Wait...Yale is the 30th? Sorry, I realize this is the Princeton thread, but CAC119 can you please clarify where you heard that? I was certain it was Mar. 29.

Edit: CAC, you might want to look at this thread. <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=307069%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=307069</a></p>

For ED, decisions were only sent be snail mail (which was torture in itself). However, worse than that, the Admissions Office continually told us that they would be sent out on Friday the 15th (I think that was the date), even when I called them on that Friday afternoon, after some NJ residents on CC had received their packages!! So it was pretty much annoying lies all around, and lots and lots of tension on CC, particularly when some people had to wait until the following week for their decisions (thankfully, I got mine on Saturday).

In other words, RDers, thank your lucky stars that Princeton will be posting decisions online!

snail mail only for RD??
I thought we could just check decisions online!!

pikasof, btlesgirl was saying that RD applicants get both snail mail AND online notification. She said that ED people only got snail mail.

I'm confused about Brown now. I got this:

March 7, 2007

Applicants to the Class of 2011 will be notified by mail of admission decisions and financial
aid awards on March 29, 2007.

You can also access your admission decision on the web at:

We suggest that you bookmark this site; your admission decision will be available online on
Thursday, March 29, 2007 no sooner than 6:30 p.m. (your local time).

I'm in Michigan, which is EST. What time zone was 5:00 for?

when did you get that?

on March 7th, but that is for Brown.

I think Brown means EST since that's the zone they are in.

Since when is Yale releasing on the 30th? I looked at that link to a thread that said the 29th...but...is that true? I haven't gotten anything from Yale saying one thing or another.

This junk is annoying. It's really not worth worrying over, we'll probably get word on the exact time/date the week before for some. But, unless they do something strangely different this year, everyone will release on the the 29th. I will have 5 tabs open and be either stoked or become manically depressed. And the best part is that I know at least one person will be calling me right after.
