So i got deferred from NC state university and i'm really confused as to which part of my credentials they didn't find up to par.

In-State
Indian
Weighted GPA: 4.48
SAT:1800
ACT:29
NHS member, president of environmental club, dance team captain, youth group, volunteer as dance teacher, tutor, doing a out of school research project
Major was biology and second choice was international relations.

Libertas, seriously??? That judgement on the university is rash and uncalled for. NCSU not very good? o_O

For international relations, check out which universities let you have a semester in DC and/or intern abroad. I think Appalachian State does and you might get into their Honors Program thanks to your GPA if you can write good essays.

Biology: there’s a current glut of bio majors so could you get interested in biochemistry, for instance?

I mean if it were up to me i wouldn’t be doing Biology but my dad really wants me to so I was thinking about double majoring in Bio and international relations
