i took 2 honors in my sopho year and 2 honors and 1 AP in my jr year. and for my senior yr i am taking only 1 AP(calc) and no honors. but I have a 4.6(weighted) for that AP class. So basically i just screwed up one class-regular gov (2.6)
p.s: should i also send in a letter or something to show that i am still interested in michigan?

yes…do everything you can possibly do if you really want to get in

I heard from someone at the admissions office that many people overlook the value of a letter of interest, so not many people send them in. so i think you would stand out amongst everyone else.

and also, lets say you decide not to send in your fall grades, writing a letter would assure them that you are still interested.

Its not really too late, but i dont think sending in grades that are lower than before would really help.

like you said you had a 3.75 UW michigan gpa, and in fall you had 3.5…if anything, i think that could work against you.

but a UW 3.75 is a solid gpa to begin with, i think you should be fine with that.

and also, most people who werent asked to send grades dont send them, so youll be fine.
but definetly send a letter of interest…its not too late

Whats your basis for this?? ^^^ If were going by last year around this time will be some of the last to get admitted and going further most are waitlisted. Psp and uofm id like to hear from you guys here when you get your decisions

im basing it on that nearly no one who was deferred heard yet, a few RD applicants still have not heard yet, and that last year they got their last decisions in mid-april like they said.

so im assuming that they’d give decisions to RD applicants before they go back to looking at the deferral pile. since the whole reason we got deferred was so that they could compare us with the RD applicants, theyd wait till they get them out of the way and can see exactly how many more they can admit.

well, i dont know if a 3.75 is considered solid, but i did horrible on my ACT(24). i think thats one of the reasons why they dont want me…
can i send in a letter explain why i did bad on the ACT and stuff like that?
