And now because of me it’s likely that they will fix the law so that the loophole is closed. That’s All</p>
<p>However, not every student at a CC may find a willing administrator willing to certify IGETC for UC for a student who lists a CSU as his/her transfer target school on the form to request IGETC certification. So the loophole is not unconditional.</p>
<p>In any case, the CSU will require the course in question as a graduation requirement, so the student will have to take it at some time anyway.</p>
<p>@ucbalumnus - My target school is a UC which is why they’re UC certifying the IGETC form, but either way at my CCC they don’t ask where or of you’re transferring to they just certify that you’ve either met the CSU or UC IGETC requirements.</p>
<p>But yes you are correct that either way the speech course has to be finished before you graduate from a CSU.</p>
