Did anyone else get early notification of their admission?

<p>I didn't know that they even did this, but I just got an email saying that I was accepted even though they don't send out early action decisions until mid-December. Anybody else?</p>

<p>I also applied early and I got nothing. Not only do they usually send them in Dec, but I didn’t know they did them through e-mail. Can you take a screenshot of your e-mail (block out your personal info)?</p>

Rather than wait until mid-December, we wanted to let you know now that you are going to be offered admission to Fordham University for the Fall 2012 semester. Congratulations!</p>

<p>While the official offer of admission will not be mailed until mid-December, it is our hope that this early notification will allow you some additional time to further investigate Fordham.</p>

<p>My son just received the same email. However, the link it contained did not work, which seemed odd. Hopefully it is a legitimate message for all of your sakes.</p>

<p>My link works (it should immediately download a pdf file about their early award program) and my email contained the same message as lexieam’s and maddyc123’s.</p>

<p>For me it was, I have legacy status plus I’m above the 75th percentile for SAT/GPA!</p>

<p>I guess I didn’t get in extra early (I have similar objective stats as lexie). I’ll just have to wait till December.</p>

<p>I got that email too. My first college acceptance–so exciting! Fordham was more of a safety for me (guessing from SAT scores and my counselor’s opinion) but I was still super pleased. =D</p>

<p>Safety school for me. I am national merit semifinalist and hopeful to become finalist. Fordham gives full rides to national merit semifinalists and finalists. For that reason I applied as a safe school to fall back</p>
