I just checked the TAMS website and it said that decisions will be posted when available. What makes me curious though is that I'm really lazy so I did not submit IDOC documents until today (yeah, Saturday the 24th, more than three weeks late). Then I go to the financial aid section and there are messages saying that my parents tax returns and W-2 forms are due by 04/15/2012 directly to the Tufts financial aid office in paper.

Is this a sign or am I just being stupid? Because why would they still want my financial aid forms if I was rejected?

^Don’t listen to that kid. Before I got my acceptance to Tufts the financial aid office started calling/contacting my parents about aid. My mom was like, “so… does this mean that she got in?” and the financial aid officer was kind of like “well… we’re not supposed to say anything but… hinty hint hint”
Anyways, the point is, if they’re harrassing you for fin aid stuff, you probably got in. I doubt admissions gives financial aid the names and info for EVERY applicant, I imagine it only gets to financial aid once you’ve been accepted.
But what do I know. Good luck!

It may differ from college to college but… Excluding rolling admissions, out of the three colleges I’ve received a decision from, 2 of them sent me several email notifications asking me for verification info and documentation. However, I wasn’t accepted to either - I was waitlisted. The college that rejected me did not send me any notifications about financial aid. So even if the requests for additional documentation do mean anything (if), it still doesn’t necessarily mean you’re accepted.

As far as I know, you should not interpret what you’re seeing about financial aid as a sign of what’s to come. Preppykid is correct. If you get an admit letter (and I hope you do!) it will be coincidence.
