<p>According to the Vassar web site, they haven't received my teacher recommendation yet, but my teacher told me that he going to send it "before Christmas." It's possible that he waited until the last minute, but I was just wondering when your recs were sent and if the Vassar web site acknowledged them...I'm freaking out here!</p>
<p>Calm down. Vassar's RD and EDII due dates are January 1. Can you imagine how much mail and electronic submissions they've gotten and continue to get from just before Christmas to now? It's most likely that they simply haven't logged your teacher's rec on the student's website, if they've even gotten to that envelope at yet. (And don't forget that it's only been 3 weeks since Christmas, with at least 2 holidays in there.)</p>

<p>Can you check your stuff if you sent your app through the Common App and mailed a paper version of the supplement? I don't recall ever having gotten login information or anything of that sort.</p>
<p>My d got an e-mail acknowledgement from Vassar with the website to check her status, and an ID and password. She sent her app in mid-November (RD) and got the acknowledgement shortly thereafter. Given the rush of EDII and RD applications received in late December, I'm not surprised that you may not have gotten the acknowledgement yet.</p>
<p>sharpielove, my d did the Common App and sent the supplement via snail mail; in fact, you can't send the supplement electronically.</p>
<p>Hmm, I sent my application in at the beginning of December, but I don't think I ever got anything.</p>
