Diverse SAT II's?

Does anyone have any insight on the importance of taking "diverse" SAT II's? If someone took US History, World History and Literature, would it be looked down upon by colleges? Lopsided in favor of the humanities? I have always heard that a Math SAT II is practically mandatory (and definitely mandatory) for some colleges. However, this is also conflicted by the thought that students should take SAT II's that they can do their best on.

My younger sister is definitely stronger in the humanities. She would not do badly on the Math test, but I'm sure she would be more successful with the History and Lit SAT II's.

Sidenote - I cannot believe CB changed it so that all SAT II scores are reported. In my day (like 10 years ago), people took tons of them, retook them all, and it was no big deal because we could decide what and what not to report to schools. I think it sucks that CB made that change, but I'm positive it was so that they could force more kids into taking AP's and making more money off students.

Some colleges "recommend" that you take SAT II's in different areas in order to show that you're well-rounded. So it's basically up to the person taking them, but I think that it'll look better if you diversify it a little.

For example, I'm more of a math/science person, but am also taking literature in addition to math, physics, and chemistry.
