Do Colleges Have Your Actual PSAT Scores?

<p>Now that the PSAT letters have come out it seems that the literature from colleges has started to indicate '...your fine performance on the PSATs...' </p>

<p>For example, the letter from MIT says "In fact one of the reasons we've waitied to send you this letter is because we spent some time to see which of he millions of the students who took the PSAT are truly an academic match for MIT."</p>

<p>Do the colleges recevie the specific scores or do they simply know who got the April letter?</p>

<p>Colleges do not get your actual scores. They get lists of students who score in certain ranges. I don’t know exact ranges they target. They probably also get lists of students who are commended, essentially, those who scored above 200 or so.</p>
