Do I come off as arrogant? Criticism please!

Hi and thank you for checking out my thread. I threw together a paper in about an hour and had one of my teachers review it. My teacher said the paper was alright, but needed was touch-ups. I fixed it up a bit, then sent it to a current college-student to read. The college student told me that my writing style was strong, but I come off as an arrogant prick and that the paper was horrible. I was strongly advised to scrap the paper and start over with something new. Before I do something so drastic, I'd like to get some other opinions.

The prompt is:
"Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you."

In advance, I know the event isn't too significant or important, but I just wanted something quick and enjoyable to read. Please PM me or post on this thread if you're willing to read my paper. Thanks again!

Oh and in return if there is anything I can to do help you out please let me know.

I’ll read your paper, pm it to me!
