Do you watch TV while in college?

We watched TV from time to time.

Even though I’m not in college yet, I plan on keeping up with my regular shows (though they’re mostly on HBO, so I will be watching them online) when I go away this fall.

I didn’t have a TV, but I watched a lot of things online. I think that even if I did have a TV it would be tough to clear time to watch specific things when they’re on. I’m thinking of getting a TV tuner, but mostly just for live sports, particularly Baseball as it’s often not available online.

Only time I watched tv was in the dinning hall or if there was a gathering of people at a friends room for a game. I watch all my tv shows online. There’s some really great websites out there.

I didn’t have a TV, and I think I only watched a few episodes of “Mary Tyler Moore” (my favorite) at the very beginning of the school year. Didn’t really have the time or interest after that.

No. Watched some hulu though, TV- rarely to never.

my roommates would leave the TV on 24/7 even when they weren’t watching it which annoyed the heck out of me, like I would want to have some quiet time after a long day and sportscenter would be on repeat for the 15th time that day haha

but yeah I watched Lost, South Park and sports games during TV but that was about it, maybe some movies on the weekend

Sometimes, especially at night and on weekends. Daytime? Rarely.

But yet again, I’m not a big TV watcher. I don’t have any shows or series that I watch religiously. Only sports, local news, movie channels, MTVU, and Comedy Central. =</p>

I watched tv a lot. It will be interesting to see if I watch it less now that I am in a single. I do still have like four or five shows I watch (but they don’t run all at the same time of year, so it’s not that much), but I pretty much had WE tv on all day long every day and it may very well have just been to distract me from my annoying roommate. We shall see.

When I lived at home I only watched two hours of tv a week, and only during greys/private practice season. I watched a lot more when I came to college. Might be because they have better channels there.

The only thing I watched on a regular basis was Mike and Mike In the Morning before class. Every so often I’d watch one of my shows (House, Burn Notice, Top Gear) on TV, but for the most part, I watched most of my shows on-line.

I tried to keep up with my important shows, but usually ended up having to resort to Hulu a lot of the time. Other than that, it was easy to find other things to amuse myself in downtime, although we did watch it every now and then.

I followed a few series online. I didn’t have a TV so that is the only way I could watch except for when I watched sports with friends.

I use my television primarily for DVDs and playing my PS3. Do I watch television on it? Once a blue moon when I check the weather.

I barely go out of my room and my whole day revolved around what show was on at what time. Soooo I probably spent more than 12 hours a day watching tv…
I know, sad.

^ Same.
I think I should invest in a DVR so that my schedule doesn’t center around when the new episode of the Bad Girls Club is on.

My name is PlattsburghLoser and I’m addicted to trash reality shows.

Trash reality shows are the best invention ever. Say Yes to the Dress and Cake Boss and Project Runway and ANTM and RW/Road Rules Challenges and Jersey Shore all complete me.

I’ve never actually seen ANTM when it’s new. I always seem to catch it when it’s one of those marathons where they play the whole season in one day… and then another. And then I am stuck there all day.

Oh, me too. And it’s always the Saturdays that you have nothing better to do, and always promise yourself that you’re going to shower after the next episode… no, wait, after this one… or this one… f it, nevermind.

My school has only one TV hooked up to cable on campus.

I use hulu, netflix instant, and watch-series.com to watch my shows.

I had a TV in my dorm this past year, but I only used it about once or twice a week, mostly to watch movies on DVD and sometimes a TV show or the news.
