They were talking about their math class. The info was on the link you provided:

“Both UC English courses and the UC math course must be completed by the end of Fall term prior to Fall admission, and by the end of Summer term prior to Winter admission.”

ok im confused…for the UCSD tag, were you suppose to sign something, besides indicating on your app that youre going to be done with your igetc.

so technically my question is, what was TAG for UCSD??

* TAG applies to general admission but not necessarily to an impacted major. Students must meet the screening criteria for designated majors that require lower division preparation prior to admission into the major

click on the link that jeffforceremix (spl?) posted on the previous page, there will be a list of requirements, print it out, check off the ones you have done and then you’ll know.

Okay Okay here’s how it works. You have to have finished your required IGETC english and math by the end of Fall 2008, and you MUST finish all the classes required for your IGETC certification by the end of Spring 2009, it’s that simple. (GPA 3.0 and 60 transferable semester units as well of course)

Also you should have indicated TAG/IGETC on your application, but I doubt it’s necessary, you can always appeal.

Unless Econ is an impacted major you are TAG qualified. It’s simply a matter of it costing you more money since you have to take those prereqs at UCSD.

alright koo…i finished math and english …i will be igetc certified…and my gpa is above…3.0 and i indicated i will finish my IGETC on my follow up…i dont remember if i did it on the actual app…so by that…i have TAG?? someone mentioned i have to finish all my prereq tho and i didnt…

so which one is true??

i already read it twice…and the prereq thingy is throwing me off…sorry guys…
