Yesterday, a person told me that many med schools will accept the ACT but prefer the SAT. Is this true? If so, does this apply for all med schools or just med schools in areas that "geographically" prefer the SAT?

Umm I don’t have a kid in med school but I cannot figure out why they would ask about SAT or ACT. MCAT is the important test for med school.

o.O Med schools don’t care what test you used to get into an undergraduate program. Med school is a graduate program. You’ll worry about that 3-4 years from now.

Sorry for not clarifying. I was referring to schools that had articulation agreements with direct admission. But thank you for your answers nevertheless.
