85.53 UW gpa
top 35% of class
(gpa and rank are terrible i know)
big upward trend if that helps ANY
28 ACT
1230 (old score!!) SAT, taking again next weekend
APs: English, Environmental Science, the rest are mostly regents classes (i'm from NY)
Blah ECs just like part time job, volunteer work, summer programs, personal hobbies, etc.

I wanna major or major/minor in communications and english most likely.
I'm applying to...

Fordham, Quinnipiac, Loyola in MD, U New Hampshire (legacy), U Scranton, James Madison, Elon, Tulane, UMiami, SUNY Geneseo

I can address only three of your schools: You have a good shot at Scranton and Loyola (love Baltimore!). JMU is more of a reach; I know some in-state kids who didn't get in with somewhat better stats.

SUNY Geneseo may be a reach, even in-state. It has a 34% admit rate. Its mid-50% GPA is 91-95.8, mid 50% SATI is 1250-1390, and mid 50% ACT is 28-30. And 83% of admittees are in the top 20% of their high school class. Your GPA and class rank are out of the range and your current standardized test scores are at the bottom of the range. (Good luck on the retake.)

That doesn't mean don't apply, but don't consider it a shoo-in. Have you considered any other SUNY schools?

Yeah i know it's definately a reach, i'm not sure if i'll even apply there. The rest of the SUNYs are kinda, meh.
I really wanna go away for college more than anything, like AWAY. lol
