Hormones aren't exactly laws.

zebes, I filled out an info sheet about myself complete with checkboxes on how often I go out and when I sleep when I went to UCBerk but I ended up with two loser roomies who slept at 11 and never did anything but study. I guess it wasn't really bad for me...they were the ones doing the complaining but I just told them to live with it because I couldn't transfer to another room even though I tried.

My roommate's girlfriend sleeps in our room often, and it's not a big deal. Never that many nights in a row--I mean, she does live only a floor below us. I don't really mind. Occasionally, my girlfriend will stay over (usually I'm the one walking over because she lives close to the Diner, and I just come by after dinner), and yeah, it's never an issue. We respect each other enough never to do anything when the other guy is there, so it's all good.

When they first started going out, my roommate would let me know when she was staying over, but now it's just like...whatever. The only issue is that if I'm working late and she's over, I have to try to be quieter since she's not as deep a sleeper as my roommate. But that's common courtesy.

With other guests (i.e. friends from other colleges), I just let him know that they're coming and crashing in the room, and he does the same. We've got a really good roomie relationship--never any problems.
