applying for housing and do not know much about the dorms
I’ve heard that as a freshman, the superblock dorms are the ones you’ll want… which would be Frontier, Pioneer, Territorial and Centennial. Pioneer’s a bit older though and doesn’t have a/c or anything like that, just fyi. I’ve heard really good things about Frontier and Centennial personally.
There’s also a newer dorm now, 17th Avenue, that everyone seems to want… might even be filled up already at this point, but worth a shot!
It depends. Superblock is filled with partiers. If you ever want to study or get some sleep, the Superblock is best avoided.
My S is enjoying his single in Centennial - no roommate issues but still plenty of friends.
How did you get a single? Aren’t those competitive? I plan on applying for one.
Centennial is mostly single rooms. Additionally, he applied for the At Home LLC (for out of state students) and since those are filled first he got his first choice.
