so is it possible to double major with a major in the school of arts and sciences and a business related major in the mcintire school of commerce? because i was reading a transfer profile of someone who did that.

Ya thats possible. I’ve had numerous conversations with people at McIntire and the College and the I’ve taken that, if you get accepted into McIntire, you can double major in commerce (with whatever concentration) and another discipline from Arts and Sciences. However, so as not to lessen the value of a McIntire education, only those accepted to McIntire can include a commerce concentration as one of their majors. In other words, you can double major in commerce and something else if admitted to McIntire, but you can’t take a second major in commerce if you are not admitted to McIntire.

It’s possible but very hard. You have 12-15 credit “ICE” blocks and other required comm classes in the comm school your 3rd year, so you would need to basically have your other major done before then. Couple that with comm school prereqs, and I don’t understand how you would do it.
