How feasible is double majoring?

I’m interested in applying to McIntire and doing Commerce with a Finance concentration, and also majoring in Biology (not pre-med). If I weren’t to get into McIntire, I would be interested in doing Econ/Bio double major. How feasible are these double majors, specifically asking more about the Commerce/Bio one

Take a look at the Comm School curriculum and see how many electives there are in the last 2 years, then compare it to the bio major requirements that would most likely have to be met in the last 2 years. Large numbers of AP or similar credits are usually needed to make a double major possible.

My Son is a rising Third Year. He is doing a double major of Statistics and is starting in the Comm School in the Fall. He went in with about 38 or 39 credits from AP classes and has been working on getting many of his Stats classes in over the past 4 semesters. He planned his schedule out pretty carefully during his First Year with his Advisor with the assumption (hope) that he would get into the Comm School so he needed to get many of the Stats classes done, along with the Comm pre-requisites and hit the right sequence. So,although I can’t advise you about Bio/Comm it will make sense to work with your advisor to plan out your next few years.
