Hi guys! So I had been waiting on my decision from UF for FOREVER until 2 days ago when I got accepted to the fall 2011 term. I don't know what the conditions of my acceptance are, but I do think that I was admitted as a transfer student. During my waiting time, I had made all these plans to go to UCF and i was excited about being a freshman and having that experience. Well, now that I was accepted to UF(my dream since forever), I am so confused and I don't know where to go. I was hoping some of you can give me some advice as to what would be better: A transfer into UF, or having the freshman experience at UCF. As a high school student being accepted as a transfer, I was really bummed that I wouldn't be a part of the freshman class of 2015, so I need some encouragement or something, lol!

I am a graduating senior with my AA. I don’t know how I was accepted either but I did do the same thing as you. I accepted admssion and made plans to go to UCF. I went and visited UCF and then UF and I was sold on UF. There’s my 2 cents. Good luck with whatever decision you make. :-)

Thank you I’m going to talk to admissions on monday because I am visiting for the architecture program pin ups, so i’ll figure out if it’s best for me. I am just so torn between the two. It’s killing me, lol!

@valin, you said “Well, now that I was accepted to UF(my dream since forever), I am so confused and I don’t know where to go.”

There’s your answer, it’s your dream, go after your dream, lol, but you will have fun experiences at UF as a freshman too. However, Orlando equals more to do, and Gainesville equals less to do, it depends on your interests.

Best wishes!
