Well my daughter didn’t make the earlier deadline for an interview but still got an e-mail last week for an interview. I’m guessing it’s because there aren’t a lot of students from our area that apply to Duke… Unfortunately, she can’t even do the interview because she is in Spain as an exchange student right now. The alumnus was very kind and encouraging in his e-mail and is forwarding her information on to see if she can get an interview in Spain.

I’m applying to Duke for the 2013-2014 year (obviously). However, on my Duke log in financial aid section, it says that the aid year is only 2014. Does this mean that Duke will not give financial aid for the first semester? (approx Aug 2013-Dec 2013)

trinity.
It’s a high reach for me…but I’m hoping. :(

Woah, got called for an interview already when I submitted my application the day it was due. There seems to be a lot of alumni from all the east coast selective schools in the Denver area…or maybe just a lack of students applying to the east (which would be helpful in my case )

Hey guys!
I am an ED applicant who was admitted into the class of 2017…if you have any questions about my interview experience or other general questions just let me know!

Applying to Trinity RD. Good luck to everyone!

Son applied on Dec 9 . . . no contact about an interview yet. We are in NE Ohio.

Man this wait is not fun

Pratt applicant here.

Man, Trinity seems to be so much popular. :o

Trinity is huge compared to Pratt

Last year there were 25,667 Trinity applicants and only 5,954 Pratt Applicants

Trinity: 3,150 admitted, 1,380 enrolled

Pratt: 938 admitted, 341 enrolled

I can’t wait till April

Man this wait time is insane…and it’s barely into 2013 </3

Anyone else as crazy about duke basketball games as I am? I will bathe in blue paint I it means a spot at Pratt! Haha seriously though I hope I get contacted for an interview soon, I am in oregon so it’s not like the alum are flooding the streets here…

I would do the same thing. I would even drink the paint (Bet me), but not too much ;)

Gah. Waiting is the hardest part it seems.

A lot of people seem to have been accepted ED (atleast from those on CC)

No worries, 44% were accepted in ED

So we are all fighting for a spot in the 56%

Lol I thought you meant 44% acceptance rate ^^^

Ugh, I am applying for Trinity. Hopefully there are a low amount of apps from my area (central/socal).

^Most applicants come from North Carolina, Cali, NY, and Florida.

Who else got the email saying they received “Record Numbers” for this application year. Kinda scary.
