So many qualified people got rejected from UPenn and it is freaking me out.

yo i’ve slept for 15 hours straight once does that count as an major achievement? LOL
This week is already the worst. Me getting rejected will make this the worst week of my life. So many of my friends are getting into amazing places, 2 of my friends got in UPenn, 1 got into Caltech and 1 got into CMU. Rip me 
I have a bunch from my school but nothing on a national level
even if you have some big award it doesn’t mean you will get in. they want balance. not some brainiac
Honestly, I feel like extracurriculars is a major part of this
Stats are not the determination after seeing the decisions from the Penn thread.
extracurriculars, letters of rec, and essays play a larger part than you would imagine
Did you guys fill all 10 slots for the common app ECs?? I only did 8 main ones but I regret it now
@helpmealums you are doing this for yourself. It doesn’t matter where your friends are going. If they view you as lesser because you don’t get in then they aren’t your friends
