@MaybeHarvard2022 no, as in they wouldn’t be ok with it, or no as in they wouldn’t rescind admission?
@collegeishard225 No, they will not recind admission.
Just found the email from 3/12 stating that I’m a Uni Scholars Finalist! Anyone know more about the selection process (how the interview works, how many out of how many receive the scholarship, etc)? Thanks!
I got the same e-mail saying I’ve been nominated for the Scholarship thing! This might sound dumb but is it like a likely letter? Am I essentially accepted to Duke?
Yes, Congrats! @afterthought
@MaybeHarvard2022, @volunteerism & @collegeishard225, thank you for your replies to my post #1218
It’s crazy that people here might all be in the same classes in a couple months
Yep
I didn’t fill out a separate application for these scholarships. Did people get automatic consideration for these scholarships just by applying? Or did I miss out on a scholarship application?
@kjake2000 They’re automatic. Duke pulls them from their applications.
oh well looks like I didn’t get it. Was a long shot anyways. Thanks for letting me know. @Pastpower
The only scholarship you apply to directly is the Robertsons Scholarship. The rest you’re automatically considered for. And you can even apply to the Robertsons scholarship as a current student @kjake2000
Just wondering, did you have to apply for that scholarship or are applicants automatically considered with the application? Sorry if it’s a stupid question!
@heretoparty98 you are automatically considered.
Wash U decisions are out now! Awesome! :))
I feel like WASH U is more score driven than duke.
Also, the wash u admissions don’t enforce diversity as much as DUKE does
@gpshale Uh… not really. A lot of kids with amazing scores were rejected point blank. Please check out the RD 2022 thread over there!
@gpshale that’s great news because I just got rejected from WashU and I hope I get better news from Duke.
I am Jewish and all I want is t9 go to duke. I have been dreaming of it since forever. Does it help being Jewish?
@aviyoung30 No. Being Jewish does not help your chances of being accepted into a university.
