Just wondering

EG. Don't worry!!! I think you have a good chance of getting in. I had a friend last year that got into UCONN and she graduated early too. She was also lives in CT. I saw your stats and they were pretty close to hers. How far are you from storrs? Will you be staying on campus?

I left out the most important thing. I applied for UCONN(EA) too!! and like my name... I AM STILL WAITING!!!! As you can see my stats aren't all that high either, but we both have a good chance.

Stats GPA 3.6
(V) 580
(M) 600
(W) 620

Thanks still waiting. I'm about 30 minutes away from storrs but I'm not planning on living there. I will commute everyday. Just want to take classes:)

the mail came for Saturday and still no envelope. So ends the week and the beginning of another. When will it end? Maybe next week!

Am I to assume the longer it takes the less likely you are to be accepted or is that VERY wrong?

Very wrong I think. Someone who applied last year told me that some people applied late and got acceptances quickly, others applied early and got their acceptances very late. I hear UConn is very inconsistent with their mailing of decisions.

like i said...i applied 2 hours be4 the deadline and i found out dec 23 :)

I kind of did the same and they said my decision would be mailed in late January... what letter does your last name begin with?

r................................

mine was early febuary

One of my friends had a theory that they send based on alphabetical order... but if you're 'R', then I should've gotten mine by now ('S') but apparently they must not work that way. I guess it's very random then.

I have not heard and my last name begis with "F".

I heard december 16th, ('S').

im pretty sure ur whole date association with first letter of last name is not the case guys

Has anybody heard anything yet?? I am still waiting!!!

i have dec 23

to add to UCONN's unorganized manner- there were two kids in my class who applied AFTER the early action deadline who were then considered and heard within two weeks..yet i applied ED in october and am STILL waiting...

It looks like those who applied early are being evaluated last.

i applied back in october and i haven't heard yet. i know a professor there and she talked to the admissions people and they said they are reviewing my application this week.
