@cclolzftw: You really should put that on ■■■! I hope the compy is ok?

I see a lot of WCAS and Medill applicants, any other McCormickians?

McCormickans represent!

engineering woot!

im almost not nervous anymore. ive worn myself out the last four days. im just annoyed at the school and ready to know.

FACK!
I just reentered full-on freak out mode! haha
Good luck everyone!

True, I’m so worn out. Prob get a nice kick of anxiety tomorrow with my caffeine shots

I don’t know if this is going to make anyone happier, but the ED stats are:
Class of 2012: 1395 applied, 554 accepted (39.71%).
Class of 2011: 1296 applied, 567 accepted (43.75%).
Class of 2010: 1208 applied, 529 accepted (43.79%).
Class of 2009: 1079 applied, 524 accepted (48.56%).
Class of 2008: 1110 applied, 552 accepted (49.73%).

So if you factor in the trend, about 100 students more apply every year, about 550 accepted, so that would make our admit rate somewhere around 34.5%…I guess that’s a higher percentage than 26%.

Do you mean the Little Women with Christian Bale?!

… because I also have that on DVD, and I had (have?) the biggest crush on him in that movie.

ugh, we’re probably finding out today! I have a chorus concert after school. akd;flj

You know what I realized? Today is the 14th. Class of 2014. DEFINITELY A SIGN. Haha. Well, I’m headed to school. Hopefully I’ll see you all on here later so we can share our decisions!! Good luck everyone.

oh! and class of 2013 found out on the 13th…
you may be onto something!
i hope you’re right!

Ok, funny joke Northwestern. PRESS THE BUTTON.

i cant study for my test b/c of this…

Yes, the Christian Bale one!

Couldn’t sleep at all last night… I can’t wait another 24 hours without knowing.
I even wrote my lucky number on my hand before going to sleep!

it better be today!!

THERE OUT!!! of their minds if they don’t release the decisions today… i have survived the longest weekend of my life…-_-

@Tallone13, I almost had a heart attack when I saw the “there out” bit in caps because I thought you meant the emails were out!!! hahah

ahhhh!!!

Something tells me that if they haven’t sent them yet, they might end up just sending them tomorrow.

My advice is to relax. I was freaking out on Friday and it didn’t do me any good, haha. The decision will come when it comes, and we only have to wait one more little day at the most. =)

What I was thinking is that if the emails had been ready to send as soon as the admissions people got to work today, they would have just sent them on Saturday, so I think it’s a lot more likely that the emails will come at 5 for 6 EST because they’ll spend the day setting everything up (or doing whatever they have to do in order to notify all of us)…

wow… a year of acne drugs to all have been ruined by one weekend of nightmares compliments of northwestern… CAN YOU JUST PLEASE RELEASE THEM TODAY!!! jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

btw i know this is a little late but, do you think a 2070 SAT is ridiculously low to get into northwestern? or is it still given a respectable consideration? And my gpa is 3.96 unweighted, , in a Full-IB schedule (every single class since junior year was an IB class, i guess you can say 12 ap classes equivalent?) and rank is 19/508, with some respectable ec’s such as president of japanese club, secretary of ASB, vice president of a community service organization, president of a buddhist group, tutoring, a internship at a mortgage company, and a good amount of community service. I applied to the WCAS. Do I have a fair shot?

I like the whole class of 2014…decisions coming out on the 14th!! Such a neat trend…and I don’t know why i went to school today. My stomach is in knots i’m so nervous and its not like i did any of my homework, i’ve been checking my e-mail and this thread for 3 days straight!
