Does anyone know the timetable for Cornell to start notifying students that applied Early Action?

I know the official timeline just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Zilch. Nada. Waiting.

My daughter met with her Cornell admissions counselor last weekend. He said they usually try to turn around decisions in 3 weeks. That is for EA, not sure if that applies to ED.

Told packages are in mail for Happy Thanksgivings. Expecting along with Knox tomorrow.

Good news! When did your senior submit the Cornell application? EA deadline is 12/1 but my daughter submitted early also.

Hey there! DD got in Cornell! Nice package too. So grateful. Happy thanksgiving to you all!

Submitted 9/28. Have been to campus twice. Got the formal package today along with Knox. Cornell very strong among sons choices. Love the admissions office and overall feel of campus. Very strong award!

Got the Presidential scholarship 22k per year. very happy and while I’m still waiting on a few schools, Cornell is my top choice right now. I’ve been to the campus twice and plan to attend admitted students day in February. Anyone have thoughts on their visits to the campus?

When is the admitted students day? She didn’t receive any info about that.
We have visited the campus twice. My daughter loved the campus, lots of old historic buildings. Her concerns are about OCAAT and whether the condensed classes will be too intense or not.

Yep same with DD.She loves the campus. Loves everything she’s seen and heard thus far. We visited in August however. She’s anxious to visit again when the students are around so she can get a real feel for what it’s like there. Definitely one of her top choices so far. Haven’t heard anything about accepted students day yet.

Told by Admission office it will be in Feb and another in March

Honestly the one course concept I see as easier. There is never a conflict on studying with other classes. You dive into one class, set hours 9-11 then 1-3. Two hour break for lunch.

Thanks for the info TigerCC2014. And yep…DD and I are real proponents of block scheduling. It sounds like exactly what she’s looking for.

I do see the block scheduling as a huge benefit too. It is more like how the real world operates. Also, everyone at the school would be on the same time schedule. My daughter’s concerns have to do with the foreign languages. She wants to minor in one but is not sure the compressed schedule would work with that.
