There was an extra letter in the mail with the Honors invite, and the conditions for maintaining the scholarship.

<p>My D just found out. Accepted into Studio Television major and the honors program!! We are so excited! Congrats to those that got in and to those that did not I wish you the best of luck with your other choices. Something is bound to come along that will be a perfect fit.</p>

<p>My S got accepted for Communication Studies and received the Dean’s scholarship…14K per year…the acceptance notice says that his honors application is still under consideration…what does that mean? Are they still reviewing the application or the decision has been deferred?</p>

<p>I got accepted to Emerson today too for WLP! I’m so excited! Emerson is my first choice.</p>
<p>Accepted to the Honors Program! Pretty sure I put undecided on my application, so I guess I still have a few things to figure out…</p>
<p>Edit: @OneInTen, the pending honors program decision probably means Emerson is waiting to look at the regular decision applicant pool before admitting your son. He still has a shot! =)</p>

Full IB Program Curriculum, as well as various AP courses on top of that.</p>
<p>ECs included heavy involvement in theatre (stage manager, director, etc.), SGA (student body pres. this year), academic team/quiz bowl/whatever you want to call it (two years, best record on the team), and volunteer service as a day camp counselor which totaled something like 500 hours in two summers. I assume my recs were good, and I’m super proud of both my essays (both of which focused on theatre - CommonApp essay focused on a specific show I directed and stage managed, and where all proceeds went to Relay 4 Life; Honors essay was about theatre in general has influenced and helped me as a person).</p>
