My son got his Honors college Acceptance today also. We live in Georgia.

Received letter about scholarship but no letter about honors. Does this mean that I did not get into honors program?

From my experience, the SCHC will accept students with the top stats more quickly than students with very good stats. If you have a 1500+ SAT, 32+ ACT, top AP scores, and top of the class you have probably already received SCHC acceptance. Students with lower stats get more scrutiny. You have a chance with a 1300+ SAT, but you have a better chance with a 1400+. Most SCHC decision letters will likely be out by the third week of January.

Accepted yesterday!! Go Gamecocks!!

D finally got her acceptance letter yesterday. The scholarship letter also came yesterday. Still waiting on the Honors letter but hopefully that is just delayed in the mail since she already got the scholarship letter.

You can get a scholarship and not be in honors college. They will continue to roll out honors acceptances through mid February.

You are still in the running for SCHC unless you get a rejection letter. Don’t despair. Regular admission and scholarship notification is separate.

Still haven’t received my early action acceptance/denial letter… Think that’s a problem?

^It wouldn’t hurt to call the school and check on your application.

You should get an acceptance/rejection/deferred letter at the very least if you met the deadline.

It might just be stuck in the mail.

I haven’t received anything either and I submitted my app a week before the deadline. i called and they are closed until the 3rd
