Early admissions decisions

Accepted yesterday to nursing! 1360 SAT, 30 ACT, numerous APs, and 4.3 weighted GPA. Also got the 7500 OOS scholarship. Good luck to all and go tigers!

Accepted from CT to Biochemistry with a $10,000 scholarship! 32 ACT, 5 APs, loads of focused ECs, 4.51 weighted gpa

I applied to the Biological Sciences program in mid October and haven’t gotten my decision letter yet. A friend of mine applied to a different program at Clemson and got her acceptance last week but applied mid October as well. I’m guessing they do it in waves by major.

So nervous, applied early September…from NJ, hoping to major in engineering…wondering when I will hear…anyone from NJ hear anything?

My daughter received her acceptance letter in the mail about a week ago from Louisiana. She received $7,500 scholarship but waiting to hear from Calhoun Honors College and hopefully more scholarships will come. Still not enough since it will still be costly.

I got mine today!!! I also got the $7,500 for Engineering.

@momcollege2017 — I would not hold my breath for more money. You might find something different, but when I dug through the merit aid threads for Clemson it looked like the only ones who got more from Calhoun were the ACT 35-36 and top 1% crowd. Maybe this year will be different and I wish you the most luck! But we won’t entertain any further magical thinking.

Even with Ds max $15,000/year scholarship, Clemson still comes out one of the costliest on the list. I am pretty sure it will be falling completely off the list very soon.

Got an email today saying that I was accepted to the Engineering program, but I see that it is typical to receive the decision via mail. I could tell by the email that they assumed that I knew I had been accepted. Has anyone else gotten an email like this? Should I definitely have received a letter?

@jlamp8 You should’ve received a letter. It may be delayed because of the Holidays. You can call next week if you still haven’t received one for clarification.

I received the same email. I got a letter yesterday. But, I live in East TN and it only got to me yesterday. @carolinamom2boys is right. It’s in the mail just hasn’t gotten to you yet.

@carachel2 I agree if they do not offer anything else they will be off of her list while other schools are offering a lot more. It is sad since it is her No. 1 school but can not let her pay close to $40,000 a year for OOS.

Would today be a good day to call and ask for more merit-aid?

@STEM2017 :)) :slight_smile:

@carachel2 Just sayin. I’m sure they’re all in a good mood. And, if I’m not mistaken, they’re a little bit richer.
