they received in state scholarships, but I am unfamiliar with how Clemson does their instate scholarships. I am not sure what the equivalent OOS scholarships would be. I am also not familiar with their specific stats, so I cannot offer any aid there either.
@htown2017 From what I’ve heard, the admissions letters have the scholarship awards in them if you are receiving one. It also seems like the only way you would hear earlier than Feb 15 is if you are receiving scholarships.
Is notification only by mail or email too?
Snail mail.
Thank you @carolinamom2boys
Received the envelope today. Accepted into Genetics but have decided to change my major to Special Education. Very excited to be a Tiger
@wishfulcuu Education is one of the more competitive majors at Clemson. You may need to see about changing your major because Clemson accepts directly into majors.
I have looked ovet all the Common Data Set and have done a lot of research, but have yet to find any answers. Does anyone know how competive the Language and Internation Health major is? Saw lots of people got letters today! Congrats!!
As just mentioned, a group of students got letters today in SC. There was a large influx of posts on #tigertownbound and one could assume that a batch of letters must of have been sent yesterday. Guess we’ll find out if anyone outside SC gets one in 3-7 days… good luck everyone and happy holidays to all!
@carolinamom2boys No worries, I actually contacted admissions a few days ago, prior to finding out I was accepted, and asked about the process of changing my major to Special Education. I got an email back today saying that my major has been changed and congratulating me on being accepted; I hadn’t received the admission decision yet, so I just thought that when I contacted them the first time, I accidentally made it sound like I was accepted. Turns out, the letter was in my mailbox and didn’t see it until after reading the email.
Glad it worked out @wishfulcuu
Acceptance package made it to NJ today! $7500/year scholarship too. A good way to end a tough week of school before the break!
In WI I just got admitted! Got into Chemistry. Got $7500/yr scholarship too! Although with a 32 ACT I was hoping for a 10k one (since their calculator predicted it). Super happy! Congrats and good luck to everyone else!
In IL. Got my letter earlier today. $7500 scholarship
For the ones who got 7500 scholarship what are your stats. Also does anyone know if the competitive majors might have to wait till feburary
@tigertown17 it does not appear that competitive majors have to wait. Numerous people have already been accepted into the Nursing Program and at least one as been accepted into engineering.
My son received his Clemson Engineering acceptance today here in Colorado!!!
We are thrilled. $7500 scholarship. 33 ACT, small college prep independent high school that does not rank.
So happy!
accepted yesterday!!! lang & international health, $7500 scholarship. stats 3.86W/ 31 ACT
Huge congratulations to everyone that has heard!!
