Early Decision 2

What are good schools that offer early decision 2 ? lets list them :)
(PS if its already somewhere could anyone direct me to them)

Trinity
Hamilton
Skidmore
Conn College
Colby
to name a few

Swarthmore

Last year, Brandeis did

Vanderbilt

I believe Emory does

Emory. Tufts I believe.

Sarah Lawrence

Stevens Institute of Tech (NJ)

VC

And BTW, can I apply to two different schools for ED1 and ED2? When do I get notified by my ED1 school about my application’s status? Oh, and it is harder to get admitted through ED2 than ED1, yes?

You can apply to ED 2 after applying to another school ED 1. that’s the supposed “hook” of ED 2: you can still get ED after getting rejected out of your top choice school. I know ED 2 has a greater chance of admissions than RD, but I’m not too sure if the chances are better at one or the other… I’d say ED 1 has greater chances though simply because colleges know that that’s your 1st choice school.

Lehigh Univesity

Middlebury has ED II. Also Wesleyan. If you get rejected by an early action or early decision school, don’t lose confidence and apply ED II somewhere. But if you have an ED II school that is very close to the top of your list, decide how much you really care about the ones that are above it and, if the difference is small, go for the ED II. Of course, if you get in ED II you never get the chance to visit a few schools during accepted student days when you really get a good look at the places. So don’t do it unless you’re sure.

Colgate University

Lafayette College

Tufts, nyu, Carnegie mellon

High Point University

You can find a full list of Common App schools with ED2 on the Common App website. Just sort by EDII.
