So I was accepted early decision and by Feb 15 I had submitted all my forms to IDOC. However, my to do list still says that I haven't sent in my application certification even though I definitely did and it was filled out correctly. Is there a problem? Will they reduce my aid if I send it in now?

I just checked my D’s status and it still shows the Financial Aid Application Certification as still being due. I had faxed it in and have the transmission report that shows it went through. My guess is that they update this form later? I will probably call them sometime next week to verify, but I am not worried since everything else has been received and I have proof that I sent this.

Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude but what is a Financial Aid Application Certification as still being due? I’m a RD applicant. Is this a paper given after you submit all your forms. Also for the income tax returns, do we only submit the first two pages?

ooopppps…sorry. I just googled it, and as an RD applicants I don’t have to send it until 6/15.

I don’t think you need to worry, if I were you I would contact the Financial Aid Office and let them know that your document is missing. I checked on my “to-do” list and my FAFSA is missing even though I submitted it in mid-Feb. I think since it’s in this time of the year they’re really busy, many documents are not processed
