Title pretty much explains it :)
THANKS!

Hardest: Physics HL.

and easiest?

i have no idea

it depends on what IB courses your school offers.
at my school the hardest would probably be:
Higher: math, physics, or chemistry.

and the easiest:
probably environmental systems taken at a standard level.

mind you this is IB terms, “easy” in IB still means relatively difficult compared to other curriculum’s.

I think the physics sl test isn’t too difficult to do well on. I got a 6, a few of my friends got 7s and one of my friends who struggled the whole year in the class got a five. When I took the test I felt like I was failing it, but my BSing must have worked, or the curve is really good.

easiest: environmental systems, econ SL, and chem SL/HL (at least at my school and the chem teacher has a 100% passing rate)

hardest: bio SL/HL, math HL, and Computer Science SL/HL

These are the hardest AT MY SCHOOL to do well on the test. This is not a reflection on the classes themselves

Yeah, I don’t think Chem HL is that hard. I’m taking Chem SL and it’s a breeze.

Bio at my school is really difficult because none of the teachers can teach, but if ^ says it’s hard too, it might be all-around hard. Everyone knows Math HL is hard.

I don’t have Environmental Systems at my school, but I guess that’s pretty easy. Psych is quite easy too if you have a good memory- there are basically no other skills involved. Finally, English isn’t easy at HL, but it’s not much harder than SL.

The average grade on the first IB Bio SL test of the year in my school was a 44. Half the kids dropped out

Do we report IB scores to colleges?

IB Bio was really, really easy… probably the easiest of the sciences. Chem and Physics are killers.

IB Bio SL is very easy to get a 6 or 7.

IB Bio HL? Hell no, it’s very hard to get a 6 or 7. So if you’re gonna take HL Bio, be prepared to put up with the SL Bio BSing about easiness, because it doesn’t apply to HL.

I would say the hardest courses to get a 6 or 7 on are IB Biology HL and IB Physics HL. Those are the two most commonly taken IB sciences (with Physics SL too) and some students take both at the same time!! I’m a Bio HL student and can say from experience that IB Biology HL is absolute hell. Can’t vouch for HL Physics but from what I’ve heard, it is brutal.

Which do you think would be easier? HL Biology or HL English language and literature?(if i’m equally good at both?)
