<p>Okay so ive heard brown was the only professor for econ 41 but winter 2010 bognar is listed as the only one teaching. Does anyone know if he/she is any good? </p>

<p>its basically intro stats. I took Ap stats, and the class material is identical. The math isnt difficult, just understand all the concepts</p>
<p>I took her for some econ course last spring. I can’t even remember the name anymore, but I had her in the spring. She is an OK professor. I’d say better than brown, but not anything I’d write home to mom about.</p>
<p>I haven’t taken statistics at all. Not in highschool, not at ucla, is it a good idea to take econ 41 with out any background knowledge about stats?</p>
<p>^You should be fine o_o. I mean, its just another class. Do you take courses that you only have prior experience in? One tip to give yourself a good advantage is if the teacher allows Ti-83’s is learn how to do stats functions on it. You’ll thank me later :).</p>
<p>I have her right now for 142. She is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She goes out of her way to be available to students and makes sure everyone that needs help gets it. She really is a good professor. I would definitely take another course with her.</p>

<p>I’m not sure what version of the book you guys are using now, but I only used the book and no solutions manual. For my teacher, I had to use the book for most things (our homework came from the book and the tests were like what was in the book).</p>

<p>hi i just took the first midterm and got a 92 cuz it was soooo easy. she didn’t test any of the harder material. is her other midterm like this or does it get harder? and how is her final?</p>
