Economics for leaders

I think I’m just going to block it out of my head and wait until tomorrow morning. it’s almost 7 PM PST right here and even though the sun’s still out, I doubt they’re pulling those hours over a summer camp. If we got in, the info should arrive in the mail sometime soon anyway right? Good luck everyone.

I applied for ED and you get an email regarding your decision not in the actual mail.I got my decision later (a month later) and I was accepted. So, just hang on and relax. I got my decision on Friday, so i’m guessing that the date you will get the decision is Friday. Sorry, it’s so long.

@bluewizard97 @ramenforlife @blizzardsnorth same guys. If they were going to send it today, we should have gotten it by now. Hopefully we do find out soon, but I’ve been constantly checking my email all week and I don’t want to get so anxious and keep thinking about it only to get rejected in the end (pretty sure I applied to some of the most competitive sites ahh). I think I’ll just try to block it out for now. Anyway, a packet should be coming in the mail. Good luck to all of you and fingers crossed, hopefully we find out soon!

To everyone freaking out about RD acceptances (like me!), I just read their twitter, and someone asked when acceptances go out. They replied “Acceptances should go out April 1 and 2. We’re in CA so time will be PDT”. So there’s our explanation :)

Aghh that’s today and tomorrow I’m so scared!!!

Were you supposed to get a confirmation email saying they got your application? I don’t have one in my inbox, but I am almost sure I saw a “Your application has been submitted” page after I hit submit.

Also–do they send you an email if you get rejected? I really hope I get in!

@5minutes I got a confirmation email. It said “Thank You. Your submission has been received”. It was sent from the address applications@fte.org, so try searching your inbox for that.

I’m getting really nervous… Decisions should have been out by now  Did anyone get anything?

Nope. My parents are actually starting to get a bit suspicious about the legitimacy of the program actually. :/

EFL’s facebook page said that they’re sending out emails today but they’re based in CA which is under Pacific standard time…so if you’re on the east coast I guess the latest to get something is at like 3 AM tomorrow. Also no, I haven’t received anything yet.

and @5minutes check your spam box! My confirmation email ended up being marked as junk mail

Ah this is so frustrating. And also the University of California campus site closed too, which makes 5 closed campuses.

2/3 of my top campuses are closed so I won’t be surprised if I get rejected, but I’m still scared. I’ve been waiting for decisions all week, maybe even longer, and still nothing yet. I really hope we get them soon, but it is comforting to know that nobody else has gotten it either… probably just a delay on their part.

Do you think they’re sending out decisions by campus? It’s hard to imagine UCSB filling up before UCLA.

I haven’t received anything yet either…

@BlueWizard97 Yeah that is weird, but I don’t know I’m just assuming they’d all go out at the same time since they said it would go out today and didn’t specify anything else.

Maybe I’m looking into it too much but on FB and twitter they say they “should” go out today, which may mean that there’s a chance they wont. But again, I might be overanalyzing this lol.

Haha @ramenforlife I’m the same way right now. I think it’s best to just try to not worry too much but I can’t help it.

I am so happy that I am not the only one freaking out about not receiving anything. At this point, I don’t even care if I get in. I just want to freaking KNOW. asdfghjkl

@teabelly, that’s exactly how I feel! If I was rejected, just let me know please. I’ve been periodically refreshing my email this entire day :(
