<p>I am going to have a 3.8 gpa and all the units to transfer but i was wondering what kind of EC's i should have, I ran track and work about 24 hours a week, any ideas what other things I should do?</p>
<p>Any EC’s are good but you’re applying to Poli Sci, so if you really want to stand out get some experience in the political field. If you favor a party, join the Young Democrats or Young Republicans, get involved in community/activist organizations in your area, intern at a law firm, write for a school paper…these are just a few ideas I know got me noticed over the typical sports and work (though those are not bad) EC’s. Make it your own, follow your own interest. Just be sure it demonstrates serious interest in your field of study.</p>
<p>I interned at a local politicians district office and at the Public Defender’s office before I applied to schools. Check your county’s website for opportunities.</p>
