I also feel the same!
but why would they tell her son something different?
Tonight would be great lol
.
@smiley9101 I don’t know. I assume they said Thursday because that’s when they’ll be done making decisions.
@Vermont1 I understand your position, but personally I think all this speculation and discussion by applicants is creating the angst, not WashU. They said they’d tell us by the 15th and they will. Getting angry because they won’t be more precise about when they will tell us seems needless. We have already committed to a binding process under a notice schedule that is very reasonable. I’m anxious too but it doesn’t seem the school owes us any more info than it has already given us.
Well said
I appreciate your view. My post is not meant to convey anger, just an observation. I don’t know about you, but I am probably checking my portal 10 times a day.
I am fairly certain that there is no need to check the portal. Wash U will send an email to notify everyone that their application status has changed thus prompting you to check the portal.
I’m still scratching my head over why they need all of this time when the deadline was earlier. Even though they are still before "Dec. 15th. "
Compared to recent release dates, this really is late for them.
Hmmmm not today!
Well, every other college in the United States has sent my D an email today, but not Wash U!!
I’d give it till 6 CST tonight… if not, I’d call Thursday at 1:00 CST
I have a heart attack when one of us refreshes her email and 3 more are there…no Wash U!
@Jjlghv73 why not Wednesday?
I wish they would post it already, I’ve been bugging since last Thursday!
The office closes at 5 cst, so i think we’re done for the night. I’m banking on Thursday
Things could be automated any day even if the office is closed.
Why would you call and bother them?? They said by the 15th… It is ridiculous to call sooner than the 16th, which is a Saturday. I am sure they will release decisions before the 15th, which is what they state on their website. Everyone just needs to chill until then. There is nothing anyone can do at this point to change the outcome, which is probably already determined for every kid.
Who is calling? Did I miss that?
