ED Outcome Questions?

1.)What do you do if you are deferred?
2.)What are the chances of admittance if you are deferred?
3.)Do URM’s that apply ED usually get deferred?

2: In 25+ years of doing interviews for Brown, I have never seen this statistic released. I would guess that your chance of acceptance is not affected positively or negatively by the fact you applied ED – assume it is the same for all RD applicants.

3: The vast majority of ED applicants are deferred. Very few are rejected (about 6%). Assume it is the same for all applicants, including URMs.

sorry, but what’s an URM?

that’s alright I have had soooo much trouble with the CC lexicon. A URM=Under Recruited Minority.

Under Represented Minority

^^^further proof that I still have trouble with the acronyms
