wow...im scared of applying to dartmouth now...its my top choice undergrad (didn't do early decision because applicant pool is usually much stronger)...but everyone accepted is high 1400's at least...i was only going for like, a 1430 or something (and that's high end)...

I think that as long as your sats are in their mid range (low to mid 1400s) then they'll move onto the other parts of your application...so at that point your SATs won't keep you out. I could be wrong, but that's how I always understood it to be

hmm...that would be good...this is my 3rd time taking the sat's (as you can tell i suck at standardized testing)....got a 30 on the ACT, so that converts to the same Exact sat (1340)...hoping i get accepted, or at least waitlisted...

Do you think I have a remote chance for RD?

Also I always thought that the ED pool is not very strong b/c higher GPA/Stats kids wait for their flexibility in RD. Am I wrong in assuming that?

of course you have a chance, much better so than me at least...and i think the ED pool is actually stronger than the RD pool, but you might wanna double check that...but try to raise your gpa...

sat908, thanx, I am trying to raise my gpa. But my ec is not that great. that worries me.
