I know this is kinda late but I have my essays complete for both schools and have been finalizing where I am going to be ED’ing. Just wanted to say I know my GPA is low but I feel that I make up for it in other areas. If it helps, I am a student from Connecticut and am interested in Finance. So, thank you in advance for chancing and here are my stats:
GPA: UW: 3.5, W:4.9, Took a lot of AP classes my junior year and senior year (full AP schedule senior year) I had a really bad freshman year but improved sophomore and junior year.
SAT: 1540 (21 Essay)
SAT Subject: 800 Math 2, 740 World History
AP Exams: 5 Lang, 4 Whap, 4 Calc AB, 4 Psych (Self-studied)
EC’s:
FBLA: Member (9-11), Treasurer (12)
School Newspaper: Member (9-10), Department Head (11-12)
School Newsletter: Editor-In-Chief: Basically started this in 11 and it grew tenfold with over 100 members by my senior year.
School Soccer Team: 9-11, Captain 11
Student Council: Liaison (executive board: 9-11)
Started a LaunchX club in my school

2nd at FBLA State competition
Captain’s award soccer (can probably just include this in my description)
Ap Scholar with Distinction
Some type of honor roll every marking period

Co-founded a State Certified Non-Profit

450 hours at around 10 places around the community
