<p>I didn’t qualify for ELC in the local context, but something about statewide. Other words, do the UC’s care if you are statewide ELC or on track ELC?</p>
<p>Statewide and on track I believe are supposed to guarantee you a spot in "an UC" but not necessarily your top choice just like it says in the local context letter however, Davis, SB, UCI, and UCR have guaranteed spots for ELC at least the last couple of years. Merced and UCD sent a letter telling D to apply but did specifically guarantee admissions. Statististically Cal, UCSD and UCLA admit quite a few of the ELC as compared to regular admissions.</p>
