how many are they taking??? for oxford
@Kostt2000 ok let’s put it in perspective:
Oxford ED1 in 2014: 453 applied 184 admitted (40.8%)
Oxford ED1 in. 2015: 466 applied
They grew 13 applicants, 3%
do you know how many they are taking for oxford?
@Kostt2000 they haven’t said how many they’ve admitted. I think they’ll announce that after decisions. I don’t think I can even speculate since Oxford is a growing campus. They built a new science building so that might change the number. Or it could be around the same
@ismitah wait what are thoes things? i dont have that on my to do list…?
E-mail for what?
@Kostt2000 FAFSA is the free federal application to be eligible for aid and the IDOC packet needs the FAFSA to be completed. If you applied for financial aid then you should have those on your to do list
@Emorylove732 just got the email. Said the same thing the blog did so you’re not missing any info
Hi guys! Emory called my school asking for my friend’s first quarter grades. Why do you think they wanted them if they’re not required?
Probably on the edge and wanted to see if your friend is doing well senior year.
I think you are fine @college1998girl
I can’t even process that there are only about five days until we find out. It seems like yesterday when I set my countdown and it showed more than 1000 hours.
My CSS profile still says it’s initiated, but I turned it in on Nov. 14th. Do you think they would’ve updated it by now?
@Oliea98 I submitted mine around that date also, and my CSS profile is updated now!
@Oliea98 Whats a CSS?
@Kostt2000 CSS is the college scholarship service. If you checked the box when filling out the app for financial aid you needed to fill one of these out. Its through college board
@neekawu yeah I’m kind of nervous now because my dad is the one who took care of it, but he swears he turned it in… I guess I’ll just call the Office of Financial Aid tomorrow.
Oh so if you didnt apply for it, it dosent matter right?
@Oliea98 We turned in about the same day. I figure it would have been updated about the same time. Mine wasn’t updated till recently. Yea you should call tomorrow because my friend applied for aid last year and didn’t send in the information and that school didn’t review his application (not saying emory will do this but better safe than sorry)
@Kostt2000 Well some colleges require you to fill it out regardless. I just know colleges use CSS to give financial aid, but I am not sure if emory requires it
