Last year, they released some RD acceptances to the school who applied to the program but weren’t selected as finalists. The email says if you’re rejected, that will be the only thing you will be informed of. Does anyone know if they will still release some RD notifications along with the scholars update?
Emory Scholars decisions are finally coming out on 20th Feb…
@allikori i could be completely wrong but i think if you’re a finalist and don’t get the scholarship, they still tell you if you got into emory.
Yes this whole process is a little confusing, however, It strikes me as the 20th they will only be notifying you if you are selected as a scholars finalist, and not of your admissions decision. One could stand to reason that if you are selected as a finalist that you will gain acceptance into the university but if you are not selected as a finalist then you may or may not be admitted. I believe only a small number of students are selected as finalists. I could be completely mistaken though so don’t take this post as written law.
To clarify no one receives a scholarship as of yet, however, do qualify as a finalist. When finalists go to finalists weekend, some are then chosen to receive some scholarship.
Where do you go to find your application id number?

From Emory’s post about release date of Scholars finalists I understand that if you did NOT get an email on Feb 13, then you are not under consideration and it’s a NO? “All students under consideration for Scholars will receive an email later today (February 13, 2019) with further detail”. Did I understand correctly? Thnaks
@Esperanzamiaf did you get the email? i could be wrong but i think everyone got it.
I think it just means that all the people who applied for the scholarship will receive an email.
