@vandyemory1342 - You were right the first time. Wesleyan UNIVERSITY in Connecticut had a 15.4% admit rate as of April. Wesleyan COLLEGE in Macon, GA may have had a 55% rate. It would not be the first time someone has mixed up the different Wesleyans around the country.
@circuitrider I looked again, yea your right lol. I was really confused to see some guy from my high school get accepted. I thought they changed to co-ed.
I got an email today from Emory detailing when they expect to finish their waitlist notifications and how they will contact you.

We got the same email today.

My son received it as well.
I thought I might mention also that my son’s twin sister was admitted RD but decided to go elsewhere; son was waitlisted. Wish he could’ve just taken her spot.
I also received it I’m assuming it’s just an email intended to rekindle our hope and keep us optimistic until early July. Although now I feel more stressed out than ever . 
I wish they’d just close it now then to have all of you stressed. This has to suck.

@VANDEMORY1342, my daughter decided to go to Texas Christian University so that she could double major in ballet and business. She really loves Emory, but her desire to continue with high caliber ballet won. She realizes that a ballet career path can be very short, so she is going to have a “normal” major as well. Emory’s ballet program was unfortunately not up to her standards(too modern for her liking). For my son, he had several options but ended up choosing University of Colorado, Boulder. He is looking at it as a great combination of a good business school combined with an awesome location for his love of all things outdoors. He still covets the Emory experience, so we will just have to wait if that is in the cards.
Did any of the waitlisted students apply early decision?
Did anyone know how about financial aid for international student if get off waitlist?

We have not. We registered for orientation at UC Davis last night and bought airline tickets. :-j

heard back about a week ago when I emailed and they called! not sure how many they’re going to accept off the waitlist though.
