<p>Have any Engineering Majors gotten accepted to any UC's yet? I applied to UCR, UCI, UCSB, and UCSD and havn't heard from anyone yet. I know UCSB hasn't released any and UCSD just started, but am very surprised to not hear anything from UCR yet.</p>
<p>I think one ME major has been accepted to UCSD. I also heard several CS majors been accepted</p>

<p>@Essenar They don’t consider essays. I think it must have been your GPA :)</p>
<p>In at UCLA EE, UCSD Comp E and UCD CSE with a 3.7. For SD I will only complete 9 out of 16 classes in ASSIST for my CC by the end of Spring, so I’m guessing they put less emphasis on prereqs and focus on GPA instead.</p>

<p>Thank you! Well, at the moment I’d say UCLA. I’m still waiting on UPenn, Brown, and Berkeley, and each of those would be tough competitors for UCLA haha.</p>

<p>I was in the same position as you. Film major, decided that I felt like I should take advantage of being in school and pursue a career in something challenging. Fell in love with engineering when I learned what I’d be doing, had to start at Pre-Cal Fall 2009 and now I’m in Calc 1, taking Calc 2 in summer.</p>
<p>@UCeric I got into UCSD with only Calc 1/2 completed. I have a 4.0 and IGETC/TAG. I suspect you will receive your acceptance in the next wave.</p>
