entertainment business in NYU?

is there? (10 char)

You can do an Entertainment, Media, and Technology concentration in Stern, but it's not an official major. Are you thinking of music business in Steinhardt, perhaps?

i want to be an entertainment agent (movies, tv..etc)

Agent representation has morphed into management quite a bit, which is about packaging and tends toward producing. I don't think old-fashioned agents, in the sense of negotiating for a client with outside producers, is around so much anymore. There's more of an expectation of evaluating and actively putting together projects on behalf of clients, wth the representative taking on a "producer" role (look at all the hypenated producers movies have). My impression is these days it's more like A&R in the music business, so you have to develop your creative side. Stern's collaboration with Tisch in the Entertainment concentration and with Steinhardt's Music and Performing Arts Professions in the Music Business major seems promising. That you would have to create your own niche to some extent out of what Stern, Tisch and Steinhardt offer is probably good practice for your career.
