<p>UC Essay: Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.</p>

<p>I also plan on using for Stanford since it allows you to write on the topic of your choice. Are there pros/cons to using the UC essay?</p>

<p>I've heard the essay is meant to talk with the application in order to paint a picture of who I am so I'll PM out the background and essay to anyone who's interested =)</p>

<p>I would just love constructive criticism and ideas on how to shorten the length. Any feedback is great and I want it mainly on the content rather than the mechanics (save that for the final draft haha)</p>
