Which 7 year med program has the lowest average SAT score?
Which program would it be easier to apply for if you have low SAT scores and have a good chance of gettting in?

i would love to know this ^ as well

here's a helpful link....

Question about the accelerated program that requires MCAT. There is only one chance to achieve the required score during the April of last year before promoting to school of medicine. If not, what will happen?

can someone give me some background on what is on the MCAT like the kinds and numbers of sections and the total number of points attainable and how hard it is to do well...

Does a 710 on sat 2 chemistry put me out of contention for competetive programs(Brown, NW etc.)?

I have very good ec's and a high gpa from a very tough private school.

how are your sat scores?

eh, it'll get you into some of the easier programs like the drexel ones, but for brown and NW you should aim to break ATLEAST 750.

got

730 on SAT Bio-M
700 on Chem
4 on AP Bio
4 on Us his
and 3 on AP chem

I don't understand the point of this...If you have low scores, then chances are you are not going to make it. So, if you think your scores are okay, then just apply. People here can't say if you will make it or not...you pay a committee 60+ dollars to decide that. Just act confidently and do your best...you never know.

is the Chem SATII very important? i am very interested in applying to HPME and other programs, but the Chem SATII is standing in my way. Our school doesnt offer an AP Chem class right now, so im debating whether or not i should take a Chem class over the summer and possibly take the SATII in the fall. would it be worth taking a class?

well, SAT II Chem is important for NU HPME, but just get like above 750 is fine...however, the interview plays a big part too, cuz my scores got me to the interview at hpme, but i got screwed by the interviews, so once u get acceptable scores, u should focus on ur interviews more

HPME (Northwestern) Requires SAT II Chem and SAT II Math Level II C

which carries more weight sat 2 ( like in chemistry , bio or us) or A.P grades

Chem 760
Physics 760
Math 800

SAT M-800 V-680 WR-700

AP Chem 5
AP Calc 5
AP Latin 5

HOW DOES THIS MEASURE UP TO YOU OTHER APPLICANTS?? do i stand a chance of admission to any of these programs?

TO: moneyindabank

Yeah your stats look pretty top-notch, can't get much better. I'd say admission would then depend on ECs or any other extra stuff.

As for SATIIs, i think chem would be best. I know programs at like BU and a few others want it in chem...I haven't heard of any that really put a premium on biology or anything else.

I was wondering if someone would please tell me where I stand and what I need to improve on. I will be a senior in high school next year.

I am most worried about my SAT 2 scores...should I take the chem and us history again (I know that they average the scores, so I would need to do really well on both to make a major difference.)

I know that people here can't tell for sure, but I'm looking to see how I measure up to other applicants and if previous applicants think I may or may not have a chance. Thank you.

for the ones that require MCATs, how the hell does that get taken care of? would this be during HS or undergrad?

undergard for MCAT
