<p>I'm trying to take more units, but my counselor keeps wasting my time saying the dean won't approve it. Anyone else have this problem?</p>

all i did was tell the counselor and they filled out a form and i signed it</p>
<p>this is for the summer, so im taking about 21 units, but I’m not taking hard sciences or anything like that, but the person seems hesitant to go with it. my profs are ok wit it.</p>
<p>as long as your GPA is above like a 3.4 or something there should be nothing stopping you

<p>yea i know. If i listened to the counselor, it wouldve taken me 3 years to transfer, because they kept telling me to take the wrong courses. When I try to help others and tell them to take the right courses in my classes, they decide not to listen to me because they think their counselor is the say all and end all for all information about transferring.</p>

<p>nah 21 for a summer session is too much for me unless i had the answers to a couple of the classes and i want to enjoy summer 
i took 22 or something during the winter quarter tho and it was pretty easy. im transferring to SCU or USC so no more DA for me thankgod</p>
