Exchange to IU- housing

Hell
I am currently a second year engineering majour at University of Wollongong Australia but have recently just been accepted to IU for a semester on exchange.
I have been looking at housing options such as apartments at smallwood and 10th and college but have also decided to look at dorms due to the social side of it.
I was wondering what dorms you would recommend?
As I am on exchange and not planning on doing much studying while over there and am going over more for the experience than anything else. I recently just turned 21 and I enjoy socialising , meeting new people and going out partying.
Any advice on dorms would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the dorms house a majority of freshman. Union Street Center in the Central neighborhood and Willkie in the Southeast neighborhood are for sophomores and older, so I would recommend one of those 2. I haven’t seen Willkie but I have seen Union Street and it’s nice. These are the only furnished dorms that allow alcohol if you are 21 or over. Northwest dorms are closest to the sports stadiums and stereotyped as party dorms, Central closer to the main part of campus and known as a more balanced party/ study atmosphere and Southeast is closest to the music school and is known somewhat quieter but there are always exceptions.
